Project 1: Case Study on Acoustic Design
The aim of project is to expose and introduce us on the actually auditorium design layout that can influence the effectiveness of the public address (PA) system in a particular hall. In a group of seven, we are to conduct a simple research on their respective auditoriums. We need to produce the layout and sections to show the sound path within the building. Apart from that, types of acoustic materials need to be identified as well.
The site we have chosen is Damansara Performing Arts Centre.
Project 2: Lighting Integration Project
In this project, we have to understand energy efficiency on buildings by integrating day lighting into lighting design (PSALI) in our individual studio design (studio 4/5). We are also required to determine the types and number of lamps to be used and to produce a lighting contour and lighting electrical ceiling layout for the selected spaces in our individual building design
